How to create an Instagram Links Page on Squarespace + The top 3 things to include

Now that you know the 3 reasons you should have your IG link go to your own website vs linktree , let’s dive into what links you should have on the page.

  1. The same profile photo as on your IG account - this is all about being consistent and confirming to the viewer that they did, in fact, go to the correct page.

  2. Three buttons/links to your most valuable content. Your most valuable content could be in the form of an opt-in or freebie, your services, a course...etc. Giving more than three (especially upfront) makes it harder for them to choose and increases the chances of them not clicking on anything.

  3. A link to subscribe to your email list - granted you probably linked to an opt-in/freebie with one of the buttons, which required an opt-in, but if someone isn’t looking for a freebie, but just wants to hear from you, you can give them the option.

  4. Optional: your top 3-4 blog posts. Not the most recent. I recommend that you pick the highest-ranking posts that are most related to your product/service and feature them with a simple graphic and link.
