3 Reasons Your Instagram Link Should Link Back to your Own Website
3 reasons you should have your IG link go to your own website vs linktree (or something similar)
Okay, since I was pretty longwinded in my last post, I'm going to keep this one short and sweet.
You know by now, hopefully, that I'm a HUGE believer in the power of showing up consistently with your branding. And for me it's not just about the bottom line (though it can add to your revenue). It's about creating that amazing customer experience that your audience can't help but rave about. I personally try to go above and beyond with my clients so that I can give them the best possible experience when working with me.
So in a nutshell here are the 3 reasons why I think you need to have your precious one instagram link go to your OWN website vs a 3rd party page.
1. Brand consistency: By using your own website you can completely customize the page to match your branding which keeps your visual brand messaging consistent
2. SEO: It’s much better for your audience to be directed to your own site to help with your SEO. In most site analytics, you can even see how many people will be coming to that page from instagram as well as which links they are clicking on the most. You have to pay extra for these kinds of features on Link tree.
3. You own your website - you don’t own the other 3rd party sites.
